CV help
Many clients will already be familiar with our CV-writing service. You should regard your CV as a 'work in progress', as requirements change all the time and what was fine 12 months ago - or even less - may not be good enough now. As always, we are concerned that your CV works for you as well as it possibly can, and we can discuss your CV with you and recommend changes. Read the Press article on CVs and ask yourself how yours would measure against the criteria discussed there (and remember, the article deals with only some of the considerations that need to be made). We've had anecdotal feedback from clients that employers prefer a CV written by 40+ Employment.
Covering Letter help
A written job application consists of two pieces of writing: the CV and the letter that goes with it. 40+ Employment can help you with letter as well as the CV. Recently we helped one client with both CV and covering letter - and she got the job she was applying for.
Job Interview help
Help with job interviews includes coaching 'what to say' in tricky interview situations as well as how improve your communication skills so that you come across as being confident and positive. Most clients find a 'mock interview' helpful, especially if there is a real one coming up soon.
